This is a real build for The Cowboy Saloon in downtown Laramie. You're the bouncer on Door 1; the other door is working too. Go ahead, work the door.
A packed bar, two entrances, and a number nobody knew
The Cowboy Saloon has two doors, a bouncer on each, and on a big night they had no way to coordinate how many people were inside. Go over legal capacity and the owner is exposed to fire-code violations and lawsuits. Hold the line too early and paying customers get turned away with room still inside. Both mistakes cost real money; one of them keeps you up at night.
The fix wasn't complicated software. It was one live number both doors could trust, and it runs on the phones the bouncers already carry.
The sleeper feature is underneath: every entry is timestamped, so the owner sees when people actually arrive and schedules bartenders against real curves instead of gut feel. A door counter that quietly became a staffing tool.

What I'd quote for this one
I keep it alive: when the software around it changes, I fix it. The monthly lands between $50 and $500 depending on what the build touches, scoped with the quote. At these numbers the build is designed to pay for itself in about 6 months.
Maintenance or handoff is about what you're comfortable with; both get the same build, and we settle the details together. My pricing rule: the standard build costs about half of what the automation is projected to save you in year one. Prices vary with scope; this is an honest ballpark, confirmed after I see the actual workflow.
